It’s starting again: The starting signal for the SPIELRAUM “Community Champions League” 2021/2022 has been given. This school year, 16 school teams from 11 different SPIELRÄUME (spaces to play) in Bremen will take part in the Fair Play School Football League. Last week the kick-off for the new season took place with the participating school teams in the press conference room of the wohninvest WESERSTADION and the winner from last season, the Gesamtschule Bremen-Ost with their team “GSO Juventus Shäbäbes”, was crowned Community Champion 20/21.

The CCL’s challenge cup was ceremoniously presented and the last organisational matters were discussed before the opening match days on 02.11. and 03.11. at the “Rocky Kickers” in Horn and the “FC South United” in Huchting.

In addition to the sporting competitions, workshops for the school teams will also be offered this year. In addition to the topics of ‘Fair Play’, a 1st aid course and a workshop on the topic of ‘Anti-discrimination’, a workshop on the topic of ‘Inclusion’ will also be offered for the first time. The Community Champions League is part of the SPIELRAUM concept and enables children and young people from different SPIELRÄUME in Bremen to compete against each other in sporting competitions.
